Wave Rider to commercially launch non-line-of-sight fixed wireless network next week

WaveRider Communications Inc., a Toronto-based global provider of fixed-broadband-wireless Internet-access products, will commercially launch the LMS3000, its non-line-of-sight fixed wireless network, at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), March 28-30, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The LMS3000 is the latest addition to WaveRider's Last Mile Solution family of products, targeted at ISPs, CLECs and other carriers. WaveRider's Last Mile Solution products use secure spread-spectrum radio technology in the license-exempt 2.4 GHz and 902 MHz ISM bands. The system is in use by Platinum Communications Corp., an ISP in the province of Alberta.
